New member here - excuse the English, Verstande Deutsch aber habe schlecht Grammatik
I recently bought an early 2011 Stromer v1 (ich denke - fast bevor den ST1 - mit Power 48 Motor). First thing I do was buy a spare (faulty) charger to get me going for my 25km each way office commute (original battery only loads to 60%).
Faulty charger (rot leuchtet, but no charging) had new Stecker fitted - wired incorrectly. Wire correctly, with the 50k resistor between pins 1 & 3, and it fires up and charges.
I have not opened off-bike charging cable yet, but do the early Stromers also use full CANBus, or just tweak things to stop people messing around? I also bought a spare (tired) battery with a view to replacing with new cells - it would appear there is some electronics & intelligence built into the battery too - would like to know if this based on any standard - anyone know?
Danke, bitte in Deutsch antworten...muss lernen

Edited to add it’s a Power 48 Motor
