Stromer ST1 X thoughts? - gamora77 - 16.03.2019 Everything, Ignoring the build vs. consensus on the Stromer ST1 X yet (based on pre-release specs)? buy debate (i understand my money would go a lot further with a self-build)? Seems like a great compromise on the (too) expensive ST2. http://tradevenue.se/ Is this the sweet spot in the Stromer line or less bang for buck? So related; Does the size of the battery influence the torque or general peppiness on a modern setup, or is it a matter of range / duration? Ie would I notice the difference in a smaller and larger battery when they are both fully charged? If it comes to a street legal 45 km/h ebike, nothing would beat a stromer - especially not a self built. No, but the larger battery will provide wide range. But the point, where the tension drops below the motors efficiency curve, will be later. With other words: Bigger battery means longe full "Stromer" punch. This is valid for the 48V / 26" series. The 27½" series are different. |
