(Sorry for writing in English, I know no German, only some French)

I received my new bike today and within 5 minutes of riding around the information panel started flashing "no_comm" and power was lost.

I have tried seeing if there are any loose connections, but I don't want to break anything (1st day with my bike :-)

Can anyone tell me what this might be? Or do I need to take it back to the Stromer store in Geneva?

(Replies in German are OK as I can use a google translate)

I found it in the handbook:

"Steckverbindung getrennt oder motor defekt. Überprüfen sie die steckverbindungen wenn das problem weiterhin besteht sie sich bitte an dies nachste service stelle"

and translated it (according to google):

"Plug is disconnected or defective motor. Check the plug connections if the problem continues it is, please contact the service point hereinafter"

Hopefully it is disconnection, otherwise back to the shop I go. Ah well. Was a nice 5 minute ride :-)

I stood up early and went shopping , still waiting for my bike .

The translation is spot on, worth a try checking those connectors.
Otherwise there are some bright guys here with a lot of experience, I m sure they can help.
