When reading all of this I'm starting to wonder how are beloved bikes will perform once we have passed the next 3 seasons, autumn winter and spring where rainy days are not exceptional.
I was told by my dealer that Stromer had 50 ST2-prototypes driving around for a long time before the bike was launched. I imagine not all of them were driving around in south of Spain
a number of "shower-tests" in wet conditions would be the minimal you would expect. Water & electronics are not best friends.
The Stromer-team is reading the forum so would be very nice to get some comments from them on this topic and the actions they have implemented to avoid PCB's and connections being affected by moist.
I did not purchase this bike for dry-weather use only, like many of us I imagine.
